Founded on a cybersecurity background, not a sales pitch

Aquila Digital's mission is simple: bring solid technology and security practices to local businesses, and make basic tech and cybersecurity literacy accessible to older adults, a group the tech industry mostly talks past rather than to. That's the purpose of the free community seminars: plain-language sessions that help older adults use technology and stay safe online with more confidence.

Founded and run by Steven R. Brown, a Penn State graduate with a B.S. in Cybersecurity Analytics & Operations, focusing in Security Risk Analysis (SRA) and Information Sciences and Technology (IST).

It started with web design and development for local businesses and it's expanding, deliberately, into hands-on IT and cybersecurity support. That expansion isn't a rebrand; it's the natural next step for someone whose actual training is in security, applied to the businesses and people who usually can't afford (or don't know where to find) that kind of expertise.

Every project, from the first conversation to final deployment, is handled personally, not handed off between departments. Aquila Digital's LLC formation is currently in progress.
